Would you like to share your research with the world? Nominate yourself for the Radboud Talks pitch competition and tell your story in just 3 minutes for a live audience and jury.
No worries, we will give you a workshop beforehand so you will be more than ready to go on stage. Preliminaries are planned from February 16-18 and a Radboud finale will be held at arthouse LUX, in the center of Nijmegen, on March 30, 2016. The application deadline is January 25.
Radboud Talks is based on the Famelab format. Famelab is an international contest for young scientist eager to tell the world their scientific story. Last year, Radboud University and Radboudumc participated in Famelab for the first time. And this year we will participate again. Because of the natural science orientation of Famelab, we wanted to include alfa and gamma researchers in the competition, and that’s how Radboud Talks came into being.
The whole competition is in English and every researcher between 21 and 40 can join. We will organize three different preliminaries: Alfa, Beta & Gamma. From every round, four people will go on to the Radboud Talks finale – resulting in twelve competitors in total – in arthouse LUX in the center of Nijmegen on March 30. This final will result in the winner of Radboud Talks. Furthermore, the beta preliminary round will give access to the national Famelab workshop and final.
