We are pleased to announce the start of the Netherlands Society for Extracellular Vesicles*, called NLSEV. This society will connect researchers, clinicians, and industries in The Netherlands who are active in the EV-field to facilitate knowledge exchange and to promote collaboration within the academic world and with industry.
A kick off meeting of this society is planned at 17 November in Utrecht. It will be a one day ‘meet and greet’ meeting that will provide representatives of every university in the Netherlands the opportunity to highlight the EV research from their institute, and researchers to present a poster.
Fons van de Loo was asked by NLSEV to make an inventory of EV research performed at the Radboud University and Radboudumc.
- If you are interested in the EV (or EV-like nanovesicles) field you can respond to send a email to: Fons van de Loo and he will add you to the mailing list to keep you informed about the upcoming NLSEV meeting.
- Please, let Fons van de Loo know if you want to present a poster about your EV research.
- If you want our representative to highlight your EV research/facility during the kick off then please tell Fons van de Loo. He will contact you later to ask for more details and probably for a power point slide.
Hope to see you at the kick off meeting of
Fons van de Loo
p.s. If you have received and responded to the NL-SEV survey in the past, you are on the NLSEV mailing list, but let Fons van de Loo know if you want to present your EV research during the kick off meeting.
* Extracellular vesicles (exosomes, microvesicles, ectosomes) are small membrane vesicles released by all cells, present in all body fluids and play an important role in intercellular communication.
